Monday and Wednesday English classes for learning center staff

Last year I was doing most of the English teaching at the learning center. This year, we took a big step and the Indonesian staff are teaching English. They are doing a great job despite just being a step ahead of the kids.

On Monday mornings, I teach the staff the lesson for the following week. This gives us all the time to prepare games and materials in advance.


Then on Wednesdays, we work through different methods for teaching. Right now we're working through Teaching English for Children in Asia. It has great ideas for developing internal motivation, mainly through playing games.
